Jay Wadley has been hired to score the upcoming romantic drama Cruise. The film is written and directed by Robert D. Siegel (Big Fan, screenwriter of The Wrestler & The Founder) and stars Emily Ratajkowski, Spencer Boldman, Kathrine Narducci, Noah Robbins and Sebastian Maniscalco. The movie is set during the summer of 1987 and revolves around a working-class Italian-American who falls for a Jewish girl from Long Island. Alex Garcia and Laura Walker are producing the project for AG Capital will produce the film, alongside Holly Brown and Scott LaStaiti (Jane Got a Gun). Wadley’s previous scoring credits include last year’s Indignation directed by James Schamus and the Netflix original series The OA. Cruise is currently in post-production and is expected to premiere later this year.
