Varese Sarabande will release a soundtrack album for the historical drama Bitter Harvest. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Benjamin Wallfisch (Hidden Figures, Lights Out, A Cure for Wellness, The Escapist, Desert Dancer). The soundtrack will be released digitally on February 24 and will be available to download on Amazon. A limited edition CD can now be pre-orderered on the label’s website, where you can also listen to audio samples. Bitter Harvest is directed by George Mendeluk and stars Max Irons, Samantha Barks, Barry Pepper, Tamer Hassan and Terence Stamp. The movie is set in 1930s Ukraine and centers on a man’s fight to save his family and everything he holds dear from complete annihilation as Stalin uses mass starvation and executions to crush resistance to his totalitarian regimen.
