This week, Rael Jones has recorded his score for the upcoming romantic drama My Cousin Rachel. The film is directed by Roger Michell (Notting Hill, Changing Lanes, Morning Glory) and stars Rachel Weisz, Sam Claflin, Holliday Grainger and Iain Glen. The movie is based on the 1951 novel by Daphne Du Maurier and tells the story of a young Englishman who plots revenge against his mysterious, beautiful cousin, believing that she murdered his guardian. Michell also wrote the screenplay. Kevin Loader (The Lady in the Van, In the Loop, The History Boys, Captain Corelli’s Mandolin) is producing the project. Jones (Suite Francaise, Kids in Love) recorded his score at Air Studios in London. My Cousin Rachel will be released in U.S. theaters on July 14, 2017 by Fox Searchlight.
