Varese Sarabande will release a soundtrack album for Stephen Gaghan’s drama Gold starring Matthew McConaughey, Bryce Dallas Howard, Edgar Ramirez, Corey Stoll, Toby Kebbell, Bruce Greenwood and Stacy Keach. The film’s music is composed by Daniel Pemberton (Steve Jobs, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., The Counselor) who also co-wrote an original song for the movie with Iggy Pop, Gaghan and Brian Burton. The label will also release the official soundtrack for John Lee Hancock’s drama The Founder starring Michael Keaton, Laura Dern, Nick Offerman & Linda Cardellini. The album features the film’s original score composed by Carter Burwell (Fargo, Twilight, Carol, True Grit). The soundtrack will also be available for pre-order on Amazon soon. The Founder will be released in theaters on January 20 and Gold is set to open on January 27. Both movies are being released by the Weinstein Company.
