Nathaniel Mechaly has recently recorded his score for the upcoming action thriller Stratton. The film is directed by Simon West (Con Air, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, The General’s Daughter, The Expendables 2) and stars Dominic Cooper, Austin Stowell, Gemma Chan, Tyler Hoechlin, Tom Felton, Thomas Kretschmann, Connie Nielsen, Jake Fairbrother and Sir Derek Jacobi. The movie follows a determined and dedicated SBS operative working alongside MI5 to prevent an international terrorist attack in London. Ex-SBS (Special Boat Service) agent Duncan Falconer has written the screenplay based on his book series with Warren Davis. Matthew Jenkins is producing the GFM Films production. Stratton is expected to be released later this year.
Mechaly whose previous scoring credits include the Taken film series, Colombiana, The Transporter TV series and The Grandmaster also has the thriller Shut In starring Naomi Watts coming up. The film is currently set for a release on November 11, 2016 by EuropaCorp.
