Sacred Bones Records has released a soundtrack EP for the documentary Almost Holy. The EP features three tracks from the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Atticus Ross (Gone Girl, The Social Network, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), Leopold Ross (The Book of Eli) & Bobby Krlic (Triple 9). The soundtrack is now available to download on iTunes, where you can also check out audio clips. Almost Holy centers on Gennadiy Mokhnenko, a controversial pastor who made a name for himself by forcibly removing homeless drug-addicted kids from the streets of Mariupol, Ukraine and housing them in his own self-styled rehab facility. The documentary premiered at last year’s Tribeca Film Festival and is being released by The Orchard. Visit the official movie website to learn more about the film.
