Aaron Zigman is reuniting with director David E. Talbert on the upcoming comedy Almost Christmas. The film is written and directed by Talbert and stars Gabrielle Union, Danny Glover, Mo’Nique, Kimberly Elise, Omar Epps, Romany Malco and Jessie T. Usher. The movie follows an estranged family forced to come together for their first Christmas since the death of the family matriarch. Will Packer (Ride Along, Think Like a Man, The Wedding Ringer, Obsessed) is producing the project through his production company. Zigman has previously scored Talbert’s last feature Baggage Claim starring Paula Patton. Almost Christmas will be released on November 11, 2016 by Universal Pictures.
