Michael Brook has been hired to score the upcoming indie drama All We Had. The film marks the feature directorial debut of actress Katie Holmes who also stars in the film alongside Stefania Owen,Luke Wilson, Richard Kind, Mark Consuelos, Judy Greer and Eve Lindley. The movie is based on a novel by Annie Weatherwax and follows a mother and her daughter, living on the edge of poverty, who find an unlikely home amid the quirky residents of small town America. Josh Boone (The Fault in Our Stars, Stuck in Love) and Jill Killington have written the screenplay. Holmes is also producing the project with Jane Rosenthal (Meet the Parents, Analyze This, About a Boy), Berry Welsh and Katie Mustard (Shelter, We’ll Never Have Paris). All We Had will premiere next month at the Tribeca Film Festival.
Brook’s recent projects also include the indie drama Tallulah, which premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and was acquired by Netflix.
