Carlo Siliotto has composed the music for the upcoming drama Miracles from Heaven. The film is directed by Patricia Riggen and stars Jennifer Garner, Martin Henderson, John Carroll Lynch, Kylie Rogers, Eugenio Derbez and Queen Latifah. The movie is based on the book by Christy Beam and follows a woman whose daughter has a rare, incurable disease and becomes a ferocious advocate for her child’s healing as she searches for a solution. Randy Brown (Trouble with the Curve) has written the screenplay. Joe Roth (Alice in Wonderland, Maleficent, Oz the Great and Powerful), T.D. Jakes (Heaven Is for Real, Jumping the Broom) and DeVon Franklin are producing the project. Siliotto has previously collaborated with Riggen on the 2007 feature Under the Same Moon. The director also worked with such composers as James Horner (The 33) and Christopher Lennertz (Girl in Progress). Miracles from Heaven will be released nationwide on March 16, 2016 by Sony Pictures.
