Will Arnett has announced on Twitter that former Pavement lead singer and guitarist Stephen Malkmus is scoring the upcoming Netflix series Flaked. The show is created by Mark Chappell (The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret) and Arnett who also stars in the comedy with David Sullivan, Ruth Kearney and George Basil. The series follows a celebrated long-time resident of the insular world of Venice, California who falls for the object of his best friend’s fascination. Arnett and Chappell are also executive producing the project with Ben Silverman (The Office, Jane the Virgin), Peter Principato (Married, Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp) and Mitch Hurwitz (Arrested Development). The show marks Malkmus’ scoring debut. Flaked will premiere on March 11, 2016 on Netflix.
