WaterTower Music will release a new soundtrack album for the HBO original series The Leftovers. The album features selections from original music of the show’s second season composed by Max Richter (Waltz with Bashir, Disconnect, Testament of Youth, The Congress). The soundtrack will be released digitally on February 19, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The label has previously released a soundtrack featuring the composer’s music from the first season. The Leftovers created by Damon Lindelof & Tom Perrotta takes place in the wake of a global “Rapture” and centers on the people who didn’t make the cut and are left behind in a suburban community. The drama’s second season premiered this past fall on HBO and was released earlier this week on Blu-ray and DVD. The show will return for a third and final season. No premiere date has been announced yet.
