John Swihart has been tapped to score the upcoming comedy Table 19. The film is directed by Jeffrey Blitz (Rocket Science) and stars Anna Kendrick, Craig Robinson, Lisa Kudrow, Stephen Merchant, Tony Revolori, June Squibb, Wyatt Russell and Amanda Crew. The movie follows a group of strangers who are marooned at the misfits table at a destination wedding. Mark & Jay Duplass (Cyrus, Jeff Who Lives at Home, Togetherness) have written the screenplay. Shawn Levy (Night at the Museum, Real Steel, Date Night, Cheaper by the Dozen) is producing the project for his 21 Laps Entertainment company, alongside Tom McNulty (The Spectacular Now, The Rocker) and Mark Roberts (In a World…). Table 19 is expected to premiere later this year and will be distributed by Fox Searchlight Pictures.
The composer also continues to score ABC Family/Freeform’s Switched at Birth. He also composed the music for the indie drama First Girl I Loved, which premiered last week at the Sundance Film Festival and is currently awaiting a distribution deal.
