Andy Hull and Robert McDowell of the indie rock band Manchester Orchestra have composed the music for the upcoming indie comedy drama Swiss Army Man. The film is directed by Daniel Scheinert & Daniel Kwan and stars Paul Dano, Daniel Radcliffe and Mary Elizabeth Winstead. The movie follows a hopeless man stranded in the wild who discovers a mysterious dead body. As he realizes the body is the key to his survival, he is forced to convince a dead body that life is worth living. Miranda Bailey (Super, The Diary of a Teenage Girl) is producing the project with Jonathan Wang, Lawrence Inglee (The Messenger, Rampart), Amanda Marshall, Eyal Rimmon (Waxwork) and Lauren Mann. The project marks Hull’s & McDowell’s first scoring assignment. Swiss Army Man will premiere next month at the Sundance Film Festival.
