The details of the soundtrack album for DreamWorks Animation’s animated feature Kung Fu Panda 3 have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, Gladiator, Inception, Interstellar, The Dark Knight). Pianist Lang Lang is featured on a number of tracks of the composer’s score. Also included is a cover version of Kung Fu Fighting by The Vamps, as well as a song by Patrick Brasca feat. Jay Chou. The soundtrack will be released on January 22, 2016 by Sony Classical and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Kung Fu Panda 3 is directed by Jennifer Yuh Nelson & Alessandro Carloni and features the voice talent of Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, Jackie Chan, Seth Rogen, Lucy Liu, Bryan Cranston, Kate Hudson, David Cross and J.K. For someone who owns both the soundtracks on CD I can’t wait! I wonder how different they’ll sound! Looking forward to them.
Man, John Powell didn’t make it… but Hans Zimmer sure do hope that he’s gonna make the music a bit more special than anything.
