Danny Bensi and Saunder Jurriaans have been tapped to score the upcoming drama Complete Unknown. The film is directed by Joshua Marston (Maria Full of Grace, The Forgiveness of Blood) and stars Rachel Weisz, Michael Shannon, Kathy Bates and Danny Glover. The movie marks the director’s first English-language feature and follows a woman introduced at a dinner party hosted by a man who increasingly believes he knows the guest by a different name and different biography. Marston has also written the screenplay with Julian Sheppard. Jay Van Hoy, Lucas Joaquin and Lars Knudsen (Love Is Strange, Beginners, Ain’t Them Bodies Saints) are producing the Parts & Labor production. Complete Unknown is expected to premiere next year.
The composers’ other upcoming projects also include the drama Christine starring Rebecca Hall, the thriller A Kind of Murder starring Patrick Wilson & Jessica Biel, Frank & Lola starring Imogen Poots & Michael Shannon and The Ticket starring Dan Stevens. The composer duo also scored Rodrigo Garcia’s Last Days in the Desert starring Ewan McGregor, which is set for a theatrical release on May 13, 2016 and the drama The Benefactor (previously entitled Franny) starring Richard Gere, which will be released in select theaters and on VOD on January 15, 2016 by Samuel Goldwyn Films.
