Music Box Records will release a soundtrack album for the French crime thriller Rabid Dogs (Enragés). The album features the film’s original music composed by Laurent Eyquem (Copperhead, Winnie Mandela, Momentum, Rage). The soundtrack is now available for pre-order on the label’s official website, where you can also listen to audio samples. Rabid Dogs is directed by Eric Hannezo (Les Infidèles) and stars Lambert Wilson, Guillaume Gouix, Virginie Ledoyen and Laurent Lucas. The movie is a remake of the Italian cult film of the same title from 1974 directed by Mario Brava and takes place after a bank job goes badly wrong and three desperate criminals take a young woman and a father and child hostage. The thriller premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and was released in French theaters this fall. No word yet on a domestic release.
