Premiering tomorrow, October 26, is the CBS drama Supergirl based on the DC Comics property, developed by Greg Berlanti, Ali Adler & Sarah Schechter and starring Melissa Benoist, Calista Flockhart, Mehcad Brooks, David Harewood and Chyler Leigh. The show’s original music is composed by Blake Neely (The Flash, Arrow, Blindspot, No Ordinary Family, The Mentalist, Life As We Know It). Premiering on Tuesday, October 27, is the new ABC drama Wicked City created by Steven Baigelman and starring Ed Westwick, Erika Christensen, Jeremy Sisto, Taissa Farmiga, Gabriel Luna, Anne Winters, Karolina Wydra, Evan Ross and Jaime Ray Newman. BT (The Fast and the Furious, Monster, Driven, Go, Catch and Release) and Mike DiMattia (Betrayal) are composing the show’s original music. Airing on Friday, October 30, is the PBS television special Live from Lincoln Center: Danny Elfman’s Music from the Films of Tim Burton.The special will feature footage from the concert at the Lincoln Center with an 88-piece orchestra and 44-voice choir, which took place at Avery Fisher Hall on July 6, 2015, conducted by John Mauceri, as well as interviews with Elfman and some of his collaborators. Premiering on Saturday, October 31, is the Starz original series Ash vs. Evil Dead produced by Sam Raimi, Rob Tapert & Craig DiGregorio and starring Bruce Campbell, Lucy Lawless, Ray Santiago, Dana DeLorenzo and Jill Marie Jones. Joseph LoDuca (Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Xena: Warrior Princess, The Librarians) who previously composed the music for the original Evil Dead film trilogy is composing the show’s original music.
