Mark Isham has taken over scoring duties on the the new ABC drama Blood & Oil. The drama is created by Josh Pate (Aquarius) & Rodes Fishburne and stars Don Johnson, Chace Crawford, Rebecca Rittenhouse, Delroy Lindo, Scott Michael Foster, India de Beaufort, Amber Valletta, Adan Canto, Yani Gellman and Caitlin Carver. The show follows a couple who dream of a new life and move to “The Bakken” in North Dakota, booming after the biggest oil discovery in American history, where they are pitted against a ruthless tycoon who forces them to put everything on the line, including their marriage. Johnson is also producing the ABC Studios production with Josh & Jonas Pate, Jon Harmon Feldman (Tru Calling, No Ordinary Family), Robert Sertner (UnREAL, Quantico) and Tony Krantz (Dracula). Trevor Rabin & Paul Linford were originally set to score the show. Blood & Oil will premiere this Sunday, September 27, 2015 and will air every Sunday night on ABC.
