  1. Bruno Costa says:

It’s a very pleasure. Dario Marianelli, Joe Wright’s collaborator scores “Everest”, the dramatic-thriller is directed by the veteran Icelandic film director Baltasar Kormákur. It’s an amazing experiance.

In 2007, Dario Marianelli scored Joe Wright’s “Atonement”, starring Keira Knightley and James McAvoy and in 2008, he won an Oscar for the Best Original Score. This year, Dario Marianelli was originally hired to compose by the music of the film “Pan”, then he was fired by director Joe Wright, so Dario Marianelli’s score was rejected and eventually, it was replaced by John Powell. Dario Marianelli had been worked with a collaboration with your best friend and collaborator Joe Wright with four films “Pride and Prejudice”, “Atonement”, “The Soloist” and “Anna Karenina”.

He’s fantastic. Dario Marianelli is fantastic.
