Intrada Records has announced a soundtrack album for Mark Steven Johnson’s 2013 thriller Killing Season. The album features the film’s original music composed by Christopher Young (Spider-Man 3, Hellraiser, Entrapment, Shipping News, Drag Me to Hell) who previously scored the director’s Ghost Rider and When in Rome. The composer’s score is presented on the album as a classical work in four movements. The soundtrack is now available to order on Intrada’s official website, where you can also listen to audio clips and check out the full album details. Killing Season starring Robert De Niro and John Travolta follows two veterans of the Bosnian War, one American, one Serbian, who find themselves in an unlikely friendship until vengeful motives are exposed pitting them against each other. The thriller was released in 2013 by Millennium Entertainment and is now available on Blu-ray and DVD.
The label has also released an expanded soundtrack release for the 1983 sequel Jaws 3-D directed by Joe Alves and starring Dennis Quaid, Bess Armstrong, Lou Gossett, Jr. and Lea Thompson. The album features the film’s complete original score composed and conducted by Alan Parker (What’s Eating Gilbert Grape), as well as alternate cues and source music tracks.
