Intrada Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack CD release for the 1974 drama The Dove directed by Charles Jarrott and starring Joseph Bottoms, Deborah Raffin and Gregory Peck . The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Academy Award winner John Barry (Dance With Wolves, Out of Africa, Goldfinger) who previously scored Jarrott’s Mary, Queen Of Scots. Included is the content of the original 1974 soundtrack LP, including the original song written by the composer, performed by Lyn Paul and with lyrics by Don Black, as well as several previously unreleased tracks. The label has also announced a 2-CD set featuring two scores composed by Laurence Rosenthal (Clash of the Titans, Meteor, The Island of Dr. Moreau). The album features the composer’s music for the 1976 western The Return of a Man Called Horse directed by Irvin Kershner and starring Richard Harris, including previously unreleased cues, as well as his score for the 1999 TV movie Inherit The Wind directed by Daniel Petrie Sr. and starring Jack Lemmon and George C.
