Caldera Records has announced a soundtrack album for the romantic drama Belle du Seigneur. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Gabriel Yared (The English Patient, The Talented Mr. Ripley, 1408, Cold Mountain). Belle du Seigneur is directed by Glenio Bonder and stars Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Natalie Vodianova and Marianne Faithfull. The movie is based on the novel by Albert Cohen and follows a Jewish diplomat who falls for, and starts an affair with, a married Swiss woman as World War Two kicks off. The drama was released in France and other European markets in 2013 and is currently awaiting a domestic release.
