Jeff Richmond is composing the score for the new Netflix original comedy Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. The show is created by Tina Fey & Robert Karlock (30 Rock) and stars Ellie Kemper, Jane Krakowski, Tituss Burgess, Lauren Adams, Sara Chase, Sol Miranda and Carol Kane. The series follows a young woman who, after living in a cult for fifteen years, decides to reclaim her life and start over in New York City and quickly finds a new job, a new roommate and a new beginning. Fey & Karlock are also executive producing the Universal Television production, which was originally developed for NBC, with Richmond, Jack Burditt (The Mindy Project, Last Man Standing) and David Miner (Parks and Recreation, Brooklyn Nine-Nine). Richmond who is married to Fey has previously composed the music for NBC’s 30 Rock and the feature comedy Baby Mama starring Fey and Amy Poehler. Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is set to premiere on March 6, 2015 on Netflix.
