So he just colaborates with Trent Resznor on David Fincher films?
No, he’s collab’d with Trent on the three films, but he’s done other films and TV on top of that. And Trent’s never worked on a film without Atticus.
I expressed myself badly. I mean, I know Atticus does a lot of projects outside his collaborations with Fincher, like this one on the news. What I meant is, of all the films he does, it’s only on Fincher’s movies that he collaborates with Trent. On the other films, he works alone, which, for me, is kinda odd.
Ross has his own career outside of his work with Reznor and NIN, but last decade or so Reznor has always worked with Ross on his projects, be it a NIN album or a film score. So you should see it like this, Reznor always works with Ross, but Ross also does work on his own
Nope. On most “solo” ventures he actually works with brother Leopold Ross and his wife Claudia Sarne, but sadly many journalists like to ignore these things – partially because liner notes are not helpful for scores often, as we all know.
So, does Hillcoat partnership with Cave has ended? i wanted to hear a police thriller scored by Cave & Ellis, well there’ll always be “Days of Grace”
