Jeff Grace is reteaming with director Ti West on the upcoming western In a Valley of Violence. The film written and directed by West stars John Travolta, Ethan Hawke, Taissa Farmiga, Karen Gillan and James Ransone. The movie is set in the 1890s and follows drifter with nothing to lose who arrives in a small town and seeks revenge on the thugs who killed his best friend. Jason Blum (Paranormal Activity, Insidious, Whiplash, Sinister) is producing the project through his Blumhouse production company, alongside Jacob Jaffke (Sleepwalk with Me, The Sacrament) and Peter Phok (Stake Land). Grace has previously collaborated with West on the features The House of the Devil, The Innkeepers and Trigger Man. The composer’s other previous film scoring credits include Night Moves, Cold in July and Meek’s Cutoff. In a Valley of Violence is expected to premiere later this year.
