Andrew Feltenstein and John Nau are composing the music for the upcoming indie comedy The Bronze. The film is directed by Bryan Buckley who received an Academy Award nomination for the short Asad and stars Melissa Rauch, Gary Cole, Thomas Middleditch, Sebastian Stan, Haley Lu Richardson and Cecily Strong. The movie centers on Hope Ann Greggory who became an American hero after winning the bronze medal for the women’s gymnastics team in 2004 and is confronted with reassessing her life when a promising young gymnast threatens her local celebrity status. Melissa & Winston Rauch have written the screenplay and are producing the project with Buckley, Jay & Mark Duplass (Cyrus, Jeff Who Lives at Home) and Michael Cuddy. The Bronze is set to premiere next month in competition at the Sundance Film Festival.
Feltenstein & Nau also have the comedy Sleeping with Other People starring Jason Sudeikis, which will also premiere at Sundance, as well as the second season of IFC’s The Spoils of Babylon coming up.
