Singer/songwriter Scott Walker is set to score the upcoming indie drama The Childhood of a Leader. The project marks the directorial debut of actor Brady Corbet and stars Robert Pattinson, Tim Roth, Berenice Bejo and Stacy Martin. The movie is set in 1918 and tells the story of a young American living in France whose father is working for the US government on the creation of the Treaty of Versailles. Corbet has also written the screenplay with Mona Fastvold (The Sleepwalker). Helena Danielsson (Beyond), Chris Coen (Shadow Dancer, Funny Games, A Single Shot) and Antoine de Clermont Tonnerre (Philantropy) are producing the project. Walker has previously scored the French 1999 drama Pola X. His music from his solo records career has been used in such films as The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou and Bronson. The Childhood of a Leader is set to start shooting in early 2015 in Budapest. (Screen Daily)
