Garth Stevenson is composing the score for the upcoming indie coming of age dramedy Ten Thousand Saints. The film is directed by Robert Pulcini & Shari Springer Berman (American Splendor, The Nanny Diaries, Girl Most Likely) and stars Asa Butterfield, Ethan Hawke, Hailee Steinfeld, Emile Hirsch, Emily Mortimer and Julianne Nicholson. The movie based on a novel by Eleanor Henderson is set in the New York City East Village Punk scene during the 1980s and follows a young man who is sent to live with his estranged father in Manhattan. Anne Carey (Adventureland, The American) and Amy Nauiokas are producing the project for Archer Gray Productions, alongside Trudie Styler (Moon, Filth) and Celine Rattray (Bernie, Black Nativity) for Maven Pictures, and Luca Borghese. Stevenson has previously scored John Curran’s drama Tracks starring Mia Wasikowska & Adam Driver, which is currently playing in limited release. Ten Thousand Saints is expected to premiere in 2015.
