  1. Tiago Rangel says:

I don’t know what is the worse, the name Hans Zimmer and the Magnificent Six (WTF?!), or the second disc to have only pop songs and remixes.

    • Jacob says:

The day Sony lets this franchise out of the choke hold it has it in will be a glorious one.

I forgave it for Raimi’s first entry and perhaps in spite of how good his second was it became evident that Sony is using this franchise to try and sell music over all else.

Also, how much of that suite, I wonder, is going to be nothing but recycled variations on the same cue (I’m Electro – played in reverse, 2x speed, slowed to 4x, etc) pasted after itself into twelve minutes of torture?

    • James says:

Actually, the first four tracks are all cues similar to those on the first disc and they amount to about 30 mins of play time. So that second disc isn’t all bad, and some of the songs are okay, but not brilliant.

  2. asdff says:

    this is really bad…

  3. Roger says:

that corny horn melody is in there? lol

  4. Daniel sepuleda says:

Hans lost his tough on this score. It all sounds cliche and corny and it not as moving as James Horners or especially Danny Elfmans (my favorite). I don’t like this new “electronic” path Hans is taking with his music now. It was perfect in the Dark knight movies but now it seems the commuter just took over real instruments. We don’t want movies with dubstep, we want movies with good music that moves people. I just hope that it goes well wih the tone and feel of the movie

  5. ed says:

It’s actually not bad. Taking away some of those obvious rock ensemble pieces, the cue “I need to know” is fantastic – In that Zimmer way. There are plenty of ambient cues, akin to that of Cliff Martinez. Pretty good so far, Mr. Zimmer. Now, roll on ‘Interstellar.’

  6. Ds says:

What a bunch of haters here. This score looks like to be just as Zimmer has been since the beginning: a rules breaker. It sounds incredibly light, funny and cool.

  7. Ciucciuz says:

    Yawn.

  8. Hutch says:

The Amazon’s audio link doesn’t work: it only has Rn’B songs and not the excerpts of the soundtrack.

  9. MayrCraft says:

well… I was actually looking forward to this… a little disappointing… this feels like “hey, what do teenagers want? yes, teenage music” and it turns into this nonesense… i really like hans zimmers work, but this feels cheap… after his scores to man of steel and the dark knight this is all he can come up with?
