WaterTower Music will release a soundtrack album for the sci-fi thriller Transcendence. The album features the film’s original music written by Academy Award-winning composer Mychael Danna (Life of Pi, Moneyball). The soundtrack will be released on April 15, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Audio clips can be checked out after the jump. Transcendence is directed by Wally Pfister (cinematographer of The Dark Knight and Inception) and stars Johnny Depp, Paul Bettany, Rebecca Hall, Kate Mara, Cillian Murphy, Clifton Collins, Jr. and Morgan Freeman. The movie about a researcher in the field of Artificial Intelligence, working to create a machine that combines the collective intelligence of everything ever known with the full range of human emotions, will be released nationwide on April 18 by Warner Bros.
