22D Music has released a soundtrack album for the animated feature The Magic Snowflake. The album features the film’s original music composed by Robert Marcel Lepage. Also included is the song When Snow Falls Down performed by Rachel Bonneau. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon. Check out audio clips after the jump. The Magic Snowflake is a sequel to Santa’s Apprentice and is once again directed by Luc Vinciguerra and written by Alexandre Reverend. The movie continues the journey of Nicolas who was trained to replace Santa in the first part and experiences a major crisis as he is replaced by a more experienced Santa. To get his job back he must regain the innocence of his childhood. The Gaumont production was released theatrically in France this past November. The Weinstein Company has picked up domestic distribution rights.
