Hamburger Records will release a soundtrack album for the French comedy La Marche. The album features the film’s original score written by Academy Award-winning composer Stephen Warbeck (Shakespeare in Love, Quills). Also included are the songs from the film by such artists as The Mamas & The Papas, Punkin Machine, Suicide and Charles Trenet. The soundtrack will be released digitally on November 25, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Check out audio clips after the jump. La Marche directed by Nabil Ben Yadir and stars Jamel Debbouze, Olivier Gourmet, Hafsia Herzi and Lubna Azabal. The movie is inspired by the events during the “Marche des Beurs” that swept through France in December 1983 to protest against inequality and discrimination in the country. The comedy will be released in France on November 27, 2013. No word yet on domestic distribution.
