‘Blood Ties’ Soundtrack Details

blood-tiesA soundtrack album for the crime thriller Blood Ties has been announced. The album features the film’s original music composed by French singer/songwriter Yodelice. Also included are the songs from the movie by artists including The Velvet Underground, Sam Cooke, Little Richard, The Rubettes, Ace Frehley, Lee Moses, Al Wilson and more. The soundtrack will be released in France on October 28, 2013 and in the U.S. on March 17, 2014. Visit Amazon to pre-order the album and check out audio clips after the jump. Blood Ties is directed by Guillaume Canet (Tell No One, Little White Lies) and stars Clive Owen, Billy Crudup, Marion Cotillard, Mila Kunis, Zoe Saldana, Matthias Schoenaerts, James Caan, Noah Emmerich, Lili Taylor, John Ventimiglia, Domenick Lombardozzi and Griffin Dunne. The movie follows two brothers, on either side of the law, who face off over organized crime in Brooklyn during the 1970s. The thriller premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and will be released in France on October 30. Lionsgate/Roadside Attractions has picked up domestic distribution rights and is planning a release in 2014.
