Intrada Records has released the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1979 TV mini-series Salem’s Lot based on the Stephen King vampire novel, directed by Tobe Hooper and starring David Soul, Bonnie Bedelia, James Mason and Lance Kerwin. The 2-CD set features the series’ original score composed and conducted by Harry Sukman (Song Without End). The composer received an Emmy nomination for his work on the project. The 3-CD set features selections from the score of the first season of the show composed by Johnny Harris, Les Baxter, Richard LaSalle and Stu Phillips.
