Marcus Miller is scoring the upcoming romantic comedy drama About Last Night. The film is directed by Steve Pink (Hot Tub Time Machine, Accepted) and stars Kevin Hart, Regina Hall, Michael Ealy, Joy Bryant, Adam Rodriguez, Christopher McDonald and Paula Patton. The movie is a remake of Edward Zwick’s 1986 film of the same title starring Rob Lowe & Demi Moore and featuring music by Miles Goodman. The dramedy is also based on David Mamet’s play Sexual Perversity in Chicago and follows a man and woman who enter into a relationship, but their friends get in the way. Leslye Headland (Bachelorette) has written the screenplay and Will Packer (Think Like a Man) is producing the Rain Forest Films and Olive Bridge Entertainment production with Will Gluck (Friends with Benefits, Easy A). Miller who is best known as a bass player and jazz composer/producer has previously scored such features as I Think I Love My Wife, Boomerang and The Ladies Men and TV shows including Everybody Hates Chris. About Last Night will be released in time for Valentine’s Day on February 14, 2014 by Sony’s Screen Gems label.
