Stanley Clarke is reuniting with director Malcolm D. Lee on the upcoming comedy The Best Man Holiday. The film stars Taye Diggs, Nia Long, Morris Chestnut, Harold Perrineau, Terrence Howard, Sanaa Lathan, Monica Calhoun, Melissa De Sousa and Regina Hall who all reprise their roles from the 1999 hit film, which marked Lee’s directorial debut. The movie follows the group of college friends as they reunite over the Christmas holidays. Lee has also written the screenplay amd is producing the project with Sean Daniel (The Mummy series, Dazed and Confused, The Wolfman). Clarke has previously scored the original The Best Man film, as well as Lee’s Undercover Brother, Soul Men and Roll Bounce. His other film scoring credits include such titles as The Transporter, Passenger 57 and Boyz n the Hood. The Best Man Holiday is set to be released on November 15, 2013 by Universal Pictures.
