Verve International has released a second soundtrack album for the hit drama Lee Daniels’ The Butler. The album features the songs from the film by artists including Gladys Knight, James Brown, Patti Drew, The Meditation Singers, Dean Martin, Shorty Long, Fantasia, Dinah Washington, The O-Jay’s and People’s Choice. Also included are two tracks from the film’s original score composed by Rodrigo Leão. The label has previously released a soundtrack featuring the composer’s music as reported earlier this month. Lee Daniels’ The Butler stars Forest Whitaker, Oprah Winfrey, David Oyelowo, John Cusack, Jane Fonda, Cuba Gooding Jr., Terrence Howard, Lenny Kravitz, James Marsden, Vanessa Redgrave, Alan Rickman, Liev Schreiber and Robin Williams.
