Decca Records will release a soundtrack album for the upcoming romantic comedy About Time. The album features the songs from the film, including the original song How Long Will I Love You by Ellie Goulding, as well as tracks by Ben Folds, The Cure, Amy Winehouse, Paul Buchanan, The Killers, T.A.T.U. and Arvo Pärt. Also included is a cue from the film’s original score composed by Nick Laird-Clowes. The soundtrack will be released in the UK on September 2, 2013 and in the U.S. on October 28, 2013. About Time is written and directed by Richard Curtis (Love Actually) and stars Domhnall Gleeson, Rachel McAdams, Bill Nighy, Tom Hollander, and Margot Robbie. Again with the Spiegel Im Spiegel by Arvo Pärt??? Has to be the most overused piece of classical music in films in the last 20 years replacing Barber’s Adagio For Strings. I wish filmmakers would quit using it.
