Geoff Zanelli has been tapped to score the National Geographic Channel’s upcoming TV event Killing Kennedy. The film is based on the best-selling book by Bill O’Reilly & Martin Dugard and stars Rob Lowe as President Kennedy, Will Rothhaar as Lee Harvey Oswald, Michelle Trachtenberg as Marina Oswald and Ginnifer Goodwin as Jacqueline Kennedy. The movie follows the events in the lives of both the Kennedy family and the Oswalds, leading up to the assassination of America’s 35th President. Nelson McCormick (Prom Night, The Stepfather) is directing the film and Kelly Masterson (Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead) has adapted the novel for television. Ridley Scott is executive producing the project for Scott Free Productions, alongside David W. Zucker, Mary Listo and Bill O’Reilly. Killing Kennedy is set to premiere globally in November to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the Kennedy assassination.
Zanelli’s upcoming projects also include the drama Louder Than Words starring David Duchovny.
