Chan Kwong Wing is scoring the upcoming martial arts action drama Man of Tai Chi. The Chinese-American co-production marks the directorial debut of Keanu Reeves who also stars in the film alongside Iko Uwais, Tiger Chen and Karen Mok. The movie is set in modern day Beijing and follows the spiritual journey of a young martial artist whose skills places him in position to experience opportunities and sacrifices. Michael G. Cooney wrote the screenplay and Lemore Syvan (Sherrybaby, Henry’s Crime) is producing the Village Roadshow Pictures Asia, China Film Group and Wanda Media Group. Chan Kwong Wing’s previous film scoring credits include such titles as Internal Affairs, The Warlords, The Last Tycoon and Dragon. Man of Tai Chi is expected to premiere later this year.
