Rolfe Kent has recently scored the upcoming crime comedy Dom Hemingway. The film is written and directed by Richard Shepard and stars Jude Law, Richard E. Grant, Demian Bichir, Emilia Clarke, Kerry Condon, Jumayn Hunter and Madalina Ghenea. The movie follows a notorious safecracker who is looking for payback from a crime boss. Jeremy Thomas (The Last Emperor, A Dangerous Method, The Dreamers) is producing the project for Recorded Picture Company, alongside BBC Films, CinemaNX/Isle of Man Film, Pinewood Films and Lionsgate. Kent has previously collaborated with Shepard on such features as The Hunting Party, The Matador, Oxygen and Mercy. It has just been announced that Fox Searchlight has picked up domestic rights for Dom Hemingway and will release the film in 2014.
As previously reported, Kent has also scored Jason Reitman’s Labor Day starring Kate Winslet & Josh Brolin and Jason Bateman’s Bad Words.
