The details of the soundtrack album for Rob Zombie’s horror film The Lords of Salem have been revealed. The album features the film’s original score composed by John 5 & Griffin Boyce, as well as the songs from the film by artists including Manfred Mann, Leviathan The Fleeing Serpent, Rick James, Rush and The Velvet Underground. The soundtrack will be released on April 16, 2013 by Universal Music Group and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Lords of Salem is written and directed by Zombie and stars Sheri Moon Zombie, Bruce Davidson, Jeffrey Daniel Phillips, Ken Foree, Patricia Quinn, Dee Wallace, Maria Conchita Alonso, Judy Geeson, Meg Foster and Griffin Boice. The movie follows a radio station DJ living in Salem, Massachusetts, who receives a strange wooden box containing a record, which triggers flashbacks of the town’s violent past.
