Thomas Wander and Harald Kloser are currently composing the score for the upcoming action thriller White House Down. The film is directed by Roland Emmerich (Independence Day, Stargate) and stars Channing Tatum, Jamie Foxx, Maggie Gyllenhaal, James Woods, Richard Jenkins, Joey King and Rachelle Lefevre. The movie follows a Secret Service agent who is tasked with rescuing the president from a paramilitary group that has taken over the White House. James Vanderbilt (The Amazing Spider-Man, Zodiac) has written the screenplay. Kloser also serves as producer on the film alongside Emmerich, Vanderbilt, Bradley Fischer & Laeta Kalogridis (Shutter Island) and Larry Franco (Batman Begins, Hulk). Wander and Kloser have previously co-scored Emmerich’s last three movies 10,000 BC, 2012 and Anonymous. White House Down is currently in post-production and is set to be released on by Sony Pictures.
Wander also has the crime thriller All Things to All Men coming up. The film marks the directorial debut of George Isaac (Kidulthood, Adulthood) and stars Gabriel Byrne, Rufus Sewell, Toby Stephens, Elsa Pataky, Leo Gregory, Julian Sands and James Frain. The movie centers on a criminal who becomes caught up in a dangerous game of cat and mouse between a maverick police boss and a crime lord. Isaac has also written the screenplay and is producing the Cipher Films production with Pierre Mascolo. All Things to All Men is set to be released in the UK on April 5, 2013. No word yet on a domestic release.
