Screamworks Records has recently released a couple of new soundtrack albums. Among the label’s new titles is the horror thriller Spiders 3D. The soundtrack features the film’s original music composed by Joseph Conlan (Toolbox Murders, NCIS). The album is now available to download on iTunes, where you can also check out audio clips. Spiders 3D is directed by Tibor Takacs and stars William Hope, Christa Campbell, Patrick Muldoon, Sydney Sweeney, Shelly Varod and Lincoln Frager. In the movie, a new species of giant spiders is discovered that wreak havoc on New York City following the crash of an old Soviet space station into a subway tunnel. The Nu Image production premiered at various film festivals and will be released in 2013.
The label has also released a soundtrack for the British horror film Truth or Dare. The album features the film’s score composed by Richard Pryn. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio clips of each track. Truth or Dare directed by Robert Heath follows a group of young British boys and girls travel to an isolated cabin, where they meet a killer out to reap vengeance on them for the death of his brother. Liam Boyle, Jack Gordon and Florence Hall are starring in the movie, which just was released in the US on DVD under the title Truth or Die. Finally, Screamworks Records has also released a soundtrack for the Chiller original movie Dead Souls. The album the film’s music composed by Matthew Llewellyn and Jonathan Bartz who recorded their score with the Slovak National Symphony Orchestra. To download the album, visit Amazon, where you can also check out audio clips. Dead Souls is an adaptation of the Michael Laimo novel and stars Bill Moseley and Jesse James. The film follows a teenager who learns he was adopted when he inherits a farm in Maine and uncovers the horrifying details of his father’s questionable teachings. The film is now available on DVD.
