Varese Sarabande Records will be releasing the official soundtrack album for Tony Gilroy’s action thriller The Bourne Legacy. The album features the film’s original score composed by the director’s regular musical collaborator James Newton Howard. Also included is a new version of Moby’s song Extreme Ways, which has been featured in the previous three installments in the Bourne series. The soundtrack will be released on July 31, 2012. The full album details are expected to be revealed in a couple of weeks. The label has previously released the soundtracks for The Bourne Identity and The Bourne Supremacy, both of which featured music by John Powell. The Bourne Legacy starring Jeremy Renner, Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton, Stacy Keach, Albert Finney, Scott Glenn and Joan Allen will be released on August 3, 2012 by Universal Pictures.
