Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have won the Oscar for their original score for David Fincher’s The Social Network. The award marks the first Oscar win for both composers, who both have been nominated for the first time. The score beat out Alexandre Desplat’s The King’s Speech, Hans Zimmer’s Incpetion, John Powell’s How to Train Your Dragon and A.R. Rahman’s 127 Hours.
In the Best Song category, Randy Newman won the Oscar for his original song We Belong Together from Toy Story 3.
