Two new movies open in wide release this weekend.
The Roommate starring Leighton Meester and Minka Kelly features a score by John Frizzell. As reported earlier this week, Madison Gate Records has released a soundtrack album including Frizzell’s score.
The James Cameron-produced thriller Sanctum starring Ioann Gruffud, Richard Roxburgh and Alice Parkinson features music by David Hirschfelder. A soundtrack album has been released on Varese Sarabande Records as announced here.
Opening in limited release is Don Roos’ drama The Other Woman starring Natalie Portman and Lisa Kudrow. The film’s music is written by composer John Swihart. For more information on the assignment and to listen to audio clips from the score, check out our previous article.
