Fatima Al Qadiri (Atlantics, The Grandmother, Seeking Mavis Beacon) has been tapped to score the upcoming thriller Skincare. The film is directed by Austin Peters and stars Elizabeth Banks, Lewis Pullman, Nathan Fillion, Luis Gerardo Méndez and Michaela Jaé Rodriguez. The movie follows a celebrity aesthetician in Hollywood who becomes convinced a rival is out to sabotage her business and destroy her life. Peters also co-wrote the screenplay with Deering Regan and Sam Freilich. Jonathan Schwartz (Smashed, Like Crazy) and actor Logan Lerman are producing the project. Skincare will be released in theaters on August 16, 2024 by IFC Films.
