Alex Baranowski (True Things, The Windmere Children, A Christmas Carol, Burial, A Perfect Enemy, Staged) has recently scored the upcoming HBO/BBC original series Rain Dogs. The show is written and created by Cash Carraway and stars Daisy May Cooper, Jack Farthing, Adrian Edmondson, Ronke Adekoluejo and Fleur Tashjian. The comedy revolves around a dysfunctional family on the fringes of society attempting to go straight in a crooked world. Carraway is also executive producing the project with Sally Woodward Gentle & Lee Morris (Killing Eve, The Durrells) and Jo McClellan (I May Destroy You, The Last Panthers). Rain Dogs will premiere in the U.S. on March 6 on HBO and is expected to debut in the UK on BBC One around the same time.
Baranowski’s other recent projects include Basil Khalil’s A Gaza Weekend starring Stephen Mangan. The movie premiered at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival and will be released this year.
