Marco Beltrami (3:10 to Yuma, LoganScream, A Quiet Place, The Hurt Locker) has recently scored the upcoming documentary The Way I See It. The film is directed by Dawn Porter (John Lewis: Good Trouble, Gideon’s Army, Bobby Kennedy for President) and centers on former Chief Official White House Photographer Pete Souza. The movie tracks Souza’s journey from a man with top secret clearance and total access to the President, whose job description meant he was required to be invisible, to a man who has turned his focus on the present day and who uses his art as commentary to help us understand where we are now as a country and what we might be missing. Academy Award-winning actress Laura Dern and Jayme Lemons are producing the project for Jaywalker Pictures, alongside Evan Hayes for ACE Content production. Beltrami has previously scored the Hayes-produced documentary Free Solo. The Way I See It is expected to be released in late 2020 or early 2021 by Focus Features.

Beltrami’s other upcoming feature projects include John Krasinski’s A Quiet Place Part II (currently scheduled to be released on September 4, 2020), Doug Liman’s Chaos Walking (to be released on January 22, 2021) and Michael Matthews’ Monster Problems (currently set for a release on February 12, 2021).
